Location - Mulbarton Laboratory
Working Hours - Day shifts - Monday – Sunday: 06h00 – 18h00. Shifts can be adjusted according to the need of the company.

- An opportunity exists for a Medical Technician/Technologist to join the team at our Mulbarton Laboratory in Johannesburg. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of displaying Clinical competence and who has a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values
- PathCare is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across South Africa that has been assisting doctors and healthcare professionals determine and confirm diagnoses since 1923. We are registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited

About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Effective verbal and electronic communication
- Technician Certificate in Clinical Pathology
- Current registration with the HPCSA in Clinical Pathology
- Experience in technical procedure development and\ implementation.
- Computer literate with Skylims knowledge is advantageous
- Problem-solving ability (including QC and instrument\related)
- Knowledge/understanding of the stock management system.
- Experience in maintaining QA Systems
- Problem-solving ability
- 3-year Biomedical Technology diploma or Medical
- 1-3 years of Clinical experience post HPCSA registration

- Must be fluent in English with an understanding of
- Stress resistance and tenacity
- Adaptability
- Excellent attention to detail
Afrikaans
- Must have an acceptable track record/performance record with regard to the technical and behavioural competencies required to perform in this position
- Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
