About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
The Appointee should:
- Be able to work with the Microsoft suite of products
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
- Have knowledge in the development and utilisation of Rock Engineering leading/lagging indicator information systems (Pivot, Syncromine, Sharepoint, QlikView)
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area
- Clear security screening record
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the underground Rock Engineering Department.
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Be in possession of, or be studying towards, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous – Rock Engineering Certificate.
- Strata Control Certificate will be advantageous
Additional Requirements:
- Data processing and analytics will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and improving current systems and processes
- Any administrative tasks associated with the position
- Collation and maintenance of records within the document management system
- Project manage changes in RE Auditing systems, including ensuring effective change management for major changes
- Interact with Technical Specialists to develop and improve current systems and processes
- Provide assistance to RE staff when any hardware and software needs updating or procurement
- Provide support to Rock Engineering staff utilizing the Auditing systems.
- Assist the Manager Rock Engineering in the management of the SA Region Rock Engineering Operations.
