Position Purpose
- The Work Integrated Trainee is to provide practical workplace experience to students or recent graduates, helping them apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. This role is designed to enhance employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The WIL trainee programme is conducted over a period of 12 months.
Position Outputs
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all tasks
- Perform routine operational tasks under supervision.
- Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Engage in problem-solving activities to develop analytical skills.
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs.
- Support administrative functions, including documentation and reporting.
- Serve as a central contact point for queries and assistance.
- Conduct market research, data collection, and analysis to support business decisions.
- Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and project progress.
- Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Assist in specific projects within a department or work-stream.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs.

About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- University of Technology Students: B Eng Tech/(S4/S5) Completed all theoretical subjects on Electronics and Industrial. Must be a South African citizen. Preference will be given to applicants considered as South African Youth (under the age of 35). Preference will be given to People with Disability. No bursary obligation. Proof of confirmation / letter from the institution (recent). Proof of certified Matric, Academic Record and ID
