Purpose Statement

  • The successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R8,000.00 for the duration of the Programme.
  • The South African Bureau of Standards invites unemployed graduates to apply for participation in a one-year Internship Programmes commencing in April 2026.  These programmes are designed to provide graduates with practical work exposure, mentoring and learning opportunities aligned to organisational and national skills priorities.

About You:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • No formal work experience related to the field of study
  • Aged between 18–35 years
  • Completed a relevant qualification
  • Minimum 80% academic average for the completed qualification
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • South African citizen

  • Assist with departmental projects, research, and administrative tasks as required

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to team objectives
  • Participate in structured training and development initiatives as part of the Youth Development Programme
  • Submit progress reports and complete assessments as required during the programme
