- Citi South Africa is looking for Graduates to join our one-year long Learnership Programme within the Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) team. The year-long programme provides exposure and practical work experience to newly qualified university graduates within this critical function, contributing to Citi's strong culture of compliance and risk management. Graduates are allowed to apply to permanent positions in the year.
Your time here will look something like this...
- Your journey with ICRM: You will be immersed in the core functions of compliance risk management, learning how to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across various business lines. This will involve understanding regulatory frameworks, contributing to risk assessments, supporting policy implementation, and analysing data to ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards. You will play a part in safeguarding Citi’s reputation and fostering a robust control environment.

- You have strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Acceptable to have a maximum of 1 year of work experience but not required.

- You have obtained your undergraduate with a GPA 65% & above or master’s degree in any discipline.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape, particularly an interest in financial regulations and compliance (preferred but not required).
- Unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making, which is paramount in the ICRM function.
- Commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments.
- Analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry and regulatory frameworks.
- Extensive work experience is not a requirement, but dedication to learning and a true passion for the business are vital.
