Job Description
- A position for an Insurance Representative exists at the Insurance Department, reporting to the Group Insurance Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to promote the sale of insurance products and ensure compliance with the relevant insurance legislation. contract retention whilst simultaneously mitigating the costs of vicarious claims action, to control reputational risk associated with vicarious liability claim action, to protect the general interests of the company. About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Excellent admin and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
- Financial management qualification
- Matric Certificate
Key areas of responsibility: (Not totally inclusive)
- Forward request to billing/ credit control for WTR Report and monies being withheld.
- Forward request to legal for contract information and/or copies of contract.
- Forward correspondence to branch requesting all required documents and information.
- Forward correspondence to clients/claimants requesting further documents and information through means of a discovery letter.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with the relevant insurance and other laws applicable to our various functions carried out by the department.
- Assist with the functions of entering into, amending and terminating policies for Umsuka Wemali Finance one of the three FSPs in the Group.
- Assist with the functions of entering into, amending and terminating policies for Fidelity Cash Solutions one of the three FSPs in the Group.
- Assist with the functions of entering into, amending and terminating policies for Fidelity Risk one of the three FSPs in the Group.
- Assist with the sourcing, placing and ongoing management of the Group’s insurance policies.
- Assisting with all functions required to provide excellent client service on the Project Optimise Partnership with Telesure.
- Assist with the handling of liability claims into the London underwriters.
- Update ICBM claims management system
- General Ad-hoc duties as per the insurance department as and when required.
- General office duties
