Job Description
- TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Driver (Code 14) within the Trade division at Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
Job Summary
- This role involves safely operating a truck to transport tractors and implements to clients, securing and checking loads, maintaining accurate travel records, planning routes, complying with road safety and company policies, providing excellent client service, and assisting the workshop and parts department when needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Carry out daily inspections on truck and report any issues and arrange repairs when needed
- Loading and off-loading of truck making sure load is safely secured
- Provide good communication and mannerism when communicating with clients
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
- Maintain accurate travel logbook
- Obey road safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
- Assist workshop and parts department in free time if needed
- Safely operate truck to transport tractors and implements to and from clients
About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of tractors and implements (advantageous)
- Valid Code 14 Drivers licence
- Matric / Grade 12
- At least 1 years' experience in driving a truck
